How the worksheet works
Expected stock held = delivered − sold − returned − damaged. Maker share = sales − shop commission, with commission rounded per title to the nearest penny. Balance = maker share − previously paid.
A worked example
River Zine: 8 copies at 6.00 gives 48.00 sales. A 40% shop share is 19.20; the maker share is 28.80. After 12.00 already paid, 16.80 remains due and 9 copies should still be held.
Check these limits
Use sales reported by the shop, rather than treating missing stock as sales. One currency per report. Damaged copies are removed from stock but do not create a payment claim. Taxes, discounts and contract-specific charges are excluded.
Working with CSV
Keep the header row shown in the example. Put one item or shift on each row. Fields containing commas can be enclosed in double quotes. Reports flag inconsistent entries rather than silently filling missing values.
